Chapman Family Update

On this first day back at school, we wanted to take a chance to thank all of the friends, families and staff that showered us with gifts, cards, thoughts and prayers to send us on our great adventure across the country. We felt so loved by everyone and your gifts contributed greatly to our successful arrival to Ottawa.

We ate burgers at McDonalds, timbits at Tim Hortons, and roasted chickens at Costco. (Mrs. Wagner was right! I think we all gained ten pounds). We had board games, colouring and crossword puzzles galore. We had detours, washed out highways and spontaneous hotel stays! All of which your gifts helped to finance and ease the load and stress that this type of travel brings.

As we looked around a sea of faces we didn't recognize at our new elementary school called St. Rita’s, we feel so blessed to share the love we have experienced with a new community. Know that each of you will be in our thoughts and prayers as the year unfolds.
