Readathon 2023! Why do super readers cross the road? To get to the next chapter!
Our new platform, Read For My School, is now up and running. Instructions for registering on the platform can be found in the download. Just a friendly reminder that we would appreciate it if everyone could sign up before Friday, when Read-a-thon officially starts!
A few quick things to keep in mind:
Online donations are encouraged, but if you prefer to donate offline, we'll be circulating hardcopy platforms soon.
If you're donating more than $20 and want a tax receipt, make sure to include your full name and address when you donate. See sign-up instruction for more details.
Just a heads up, minutes won't be counted until after the event starts on Friday.
The read-a-thon team has prepared some fun activities for the children. More details to come.
Prizes will be given to: Top 3 students with minutes-read per class; Top 1 student with pledge-received per class; Top 1 student with most books read per class!
At the end of the event, the top grade with most minutes-read (1) and top grade with most pledge-received (1) will have pizza lunches, and can dress up as their favourite literary characters when they come to school! We can't wait to see you all on the new platform!
