DESCRIPTION:James and the Giant Peach Jr. - Rehearsals\nThank you to all of
the courageous students who auditioned for our spring production of James
and the Giant Peach Jr. Cast members should have received their scripts a
nd hopefully will take some time to read through the story and familiarize
themselves with the show. You should have also received a letter outlinin
g the commitment including the dates of the shows. \nA reminder that our
grade 4 and 5 classes will be the "chorus" for the shows\, meaning they wi
ll be singing the songs\, these will be rehearsed during class time starti
ng in January. \nOur first rehearsal will take place today from 3:15-4:20
pm in the music room. Parents can pick up students by 4:30pm at the front
doors. Rehearsals will continue weekly at this time on Thursday afternoons
. Parents\, please make sure that students are available each week to atte
nd these important rehearsals. Though the show is far off\, the time we ha
ve together is short\, we are looking forward to productive rehearsals fro
m now until March break. Extra rehearsals may be added after March break i
n the lead up to show time\, every effort will be made to make this during
school hours so as to not disrupt afternoon pickup schedules. \nMs. Walm
sley has created a Google Classroom to share announcements and music with
the cast\, your child should have an invitation through their school email
. \nBackstage roles for grades 6 and 7 will be decided closer to the show
dates. We are still looking for some parent volunteers however\, especial
ly in the area of costumes\, props and set building. Please email Ms. Walm
sley or Mrs. Wihak if you are interested. \n \nThanks! \nMs. Walmsley\,
  Mrs. Muir\, Mrs. Luongo.
